Codeless
As a product promoting a new software development concept, Codeless needed to stand out from the crowd and reflect its new ideas and young developers. The result was a light-weight identity and curvaceous, modern logo.
Impuls IT's Codeless product was to be revolutionary in design and therefore required a website and identity that reflected that. I was put in charge of developing the brand along with a co-worker at the time, Peter Mons, whose logo concept was eventually chosen as the final design. Together with Peter Kruithof we then developed the website consistently using the web development tool Vide Infra SiteSupra.
The idea behind the logo was a convergence of our ideas as graphic designers and that of the developers of the Codeless product; to reflect the ideals behind the project, the developers wanted a robust, modern logo that somehow showed off the versatility and importance of Codeless as a new product. As hard and as vague as that was to realise, we did produce something they were able to agree with, and the logo as it stands is fairly modern and unique.
The website needed to create a platform for online publications regarding Codeless, and seamlessly integrate with the style of the logo, so we crafted a style that was clean and fresh, with capabilities for easy navigation and a modular layout.
Peter Kruithof contributed a great deal to the project with the creation of several teaser movies and schemas in Flash, mostly based on the identity and style I created.
The first design concept is also available. This design was discarded because we decided its colour profile was too bold and strong on the eyes.
