Portfolio
As with any form of expression, design is mainly a point of communicating an idea with an audience. The degree of success one has doing that indicates his skill level as a designer, and effectively the quality of the design. The following pieces are a selection of works from the past three years, and represent attempts to draw in users to a line of thought developed by me and my clients.
- Bouwsteen Informatie Systeem
- The development of a customised information system for a primary school involved crafting a web-based application with desktop quality usability.

- Europrix
- Tasked with the assignment of expressing the innovative qualities of new media, I chose for a bright, colourful, and refreshing look and feel for the cross-media Europrix promotional campaign.

- Codeless
- As a product promoting a new software development concept, Codeless needed to stand out and reflect its new ideas. The result was a light-weight identity and curvaceous, modern logo.

- Gamingredients
- Gamingredients' cerealbox-shaped design was created entirely in CSS. Behind the site is an extensive engine driving clean URIs and usability.

- Square Haven
- In Summer 2003 gaming website Square Haven was converted to a standards-based design using CSS for presentation. A lot of PHP was rewritten to be more flexible, scalable, and generic.

- The Raging Spaniard
- Communicating closely with the artist behind this website portfolio, I chose to modify Blogger to fit within a design that suited a modeler/illustrator.

- CSS Zen Garden: Blue Sun
- Developed as part of the CSS Zen Garden publically accessible overview of what style sheets can do for design, the Blue Sun style sheet sticks a cool/warm contrast to the zen garden HTML.
